Lilia Aparecida Costa Gon\u00e7alves<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Dr. M\u00e1rcio Luiz Corr\u00eaa Vila\u00e7a<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Artigo acad\u00eamico dispon\u00edvel gratuitamente: Revista Interscience Place\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Resumo:<\/p>\n<p>Apesar de n\u00e3o ser uma novidade, uma vez que os estudos sobre intelig\u00eancia artificial (IA) datam de 1950, desde o lan\u00e7amento do Chat GPT 3.5, em 2022, o interesse pelo tema ganhou grande repercuss\u00e3o na m\u00eddia e tem despertado interesse de estudiosos de diferentes \u00e1reas. \u00c9 evidente que n\u00e3o seria diferente no campo educacional, especialmente no que se refere \u00e0s possibilidades e desafios provocados por um tipo mais espec\u00edfico de intelig\u00eancia artificial: as generativas. Essa tecnologia faz com que m\u00e1quinas se tornem capazes de aprender, raciocinar e tomar decis\u00f5es semelhantes \u00e0s dos seres humanos, assim como gerar conte\u00fados diversos. A ado\u00e7\u00e3o de tecnologias baseadas em intelig\u00eancia artificial tem se tornando cada vez mais presente em diversos \u00e2mbitos sociais e o uso de IA por estudantes, principalmente o ChatGPT, traz inquieta\u00e7\u00f5es e d\u00favidas para os professores. No entanto, \u00e9 importante destacar que esses sentimentos em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao uso de tecnologias emergentes no processo educacional n\u00e3o \u00e9 algo novo. Conv\u00e9m lembrar que desde a expans\u00e3o da internet e da web, novas configura\u00e7\u00f5es foram surgindo na \u00e1rea da educa\u00e7\u00e3o e, juntamente com elas, as d\u00favidas sobre seus efeitos nas pr\u00e1ticas educacionais e como estas poderiam ser aproveitadas e adotadas pelos professores. Logo, parece ineg\u00e1vel que, com a IA, n\u00e3o poderia ser diferente. Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho, de base te\u00f3rica interdisciplinar, tem como objetivo prover uma discuss\u00e3o sobre conceitos e dados para melhor entendimento sobre os principais aspectos da IA, al\u00e9m de buscar refletir sobre seus riscos, eventuais benef\u00edcios, assim como desafios e implica\u00e7\u00f5es do uso da intelig\u00eancia artificial como uma ferramenta de ensino e aprendizagem. Defende-se que n\u00e3o h\u00e1 como negligenciar as evolu\u00e7\u00f5es das tecnologias digitais, n\u00e3o sendo poss\u00edvel tom\u00e1-las como algo estranho na sociedade. Ao contr\u00e1rio, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio procurar entender como fazer melhor uso desses recursos em nossas pr\u00e1ticas docentes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Palavras-chave:<\/strong> intelig\u00eancia artificial; educa\u00e7\u00e3o; tecnologias digitais.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Abstract \u2013Despite not being a novelty, as studies on artificial intelligence (AI) date back to 1950, the interest in the subject gained significant attention in the media since the launch of ChatGPT 3.5 in 2022. It has sparked the interest of scholars from different fields This interest is evident in the educational field as well, especially concerning the possibilities and challenges posed by a more specific type of artificial intelligence: generative AI. This technology enables machines to learn, reason, and make decisions similar to humans, as well as generate diverse content. The adoption of AI-based technologies, has become increasingly prevalent in a variety of social domains. The use of AI by students, particularly ChatGPT, raises concerns and questions for teachers. However, it is important to note that these feelings regarding the use of emerging technologies in the educational process are not new. Since the expansion of the internet and the web, new configurations have emerged in the field of education, along with doubts about their effects on educational practices and how they could be utilized and adopted by teachers. Therefore, it seems undeniable that with AI, the scenario would be no different. In this context, the present interdisciplinary theoretical work aims to provide a discussion on concepts and data to enhance understanding of the key aspects of AI. It also seeks to reflect on the risks, potential benefits, as well as challenges and implications of using artificial intelligence as a tool for teaching and learning.
